Job Overview

Are you a skilled and innovative digital marketer with a passion for the education and travel industry? Travels University is seeking a talented Digital Marketer to join our team and play a vital role in driving brand engagement and student enrollment. As the Digital Marketer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies across various digital platforms to promote our university and attract a wider audience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with Travels University’s objectives and target audience.
  • Manage and optimize various digital channels, including social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok), email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), and display advertising.
  • Develop engaging and visually appealing content that represents the university’s brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
  • Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our digital marketing efforts remain innovative and effective.
  • Analyze digital marketing data and metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide data-driven insights and reports to optimize campaign performance and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the marketing, technical, and content teams, to align digital marketing efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve website user experience and drive higher conversions.
  • Stay updated with changes in digital marketing algorithms, platforms, and tools to maximize marketing effectiveness.
  • Work closely with the Social Media/Community Manager to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all digital channels.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • At least a GCE Advanced Level certificate.
  • Any digital marketing education or certification is an added advantage.
  • Proven work experience of 1-5 years in digital marketing, preferably in the education or travel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEM, SEO, and display advertising.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms to track and measure campaign performance.
  • Creative skills for content creation, including graphic design, copywriting, and editing abilities.
  • Ability to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that align with university goals and target audience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Enthusiasm for staying updated with digital marketing trends, algorithms, and industry best practices.
  • Strong multitasking and deadline management abilities.
